Severn Valley Railway
Our 2nd visit to the Severn Valley Railway was in May 2023. A most enjoyable visit with 2 round trips on the preserved railway from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth and return. A very enjoyable lunch was also provided to the members on the train.

North Norfolk Railway
Members revisited the North Norfolk Railway in Sep 2023, with the majority of members making their way from London Liverpool Street via Norwich to Sheringham on Greater Anglia services. A very enjoyable day with lunch taken at The Two Lifebuoys in Sheringham.

Bluebell Railway
A revisit to the Bluebell Railway in Jul 2018, a most enjoyable day was had by all. Taking a Southern service from London Victoria to East Grinstead where the Bluebell railway has its own platform and loop adjoining the Network station.

Spa Valley Railway
A very enjoyable preserved railway trip to the Spa Valley Railway in Jul 2025 with members setting out from London Bridge to Eridge on a Southern class 171 DMU to Eridge where the Spa Valley Railway has platforms within the station. Services run to Tunbridge Wells West station.

Nene Valley Railway
Our trip to the Nene Valley Railway took place in Oct 2017, with members heading up from London Kings Cross to Peterborough where we also met Dudley and Malcolm arriving from York and Norwich respectively. A short walk from the mainline station to the preserved railway station and joined the Nene Valley Railway service to Wansford. Again, a very enjoyable day out.

Isle of Wight Steam Railway
Our trip to the Isle of Wight Steam Railway took place in Sep 2017 and was an enjoyable experience with members heading down to Portsmouth Harbour from London Waterloo and then taking the ferry across to Ryde and the Isle of Wight old 1938 tube stock which was used at the time by South West Trains from Ryde Pier Head to Smallbrook Junction where the preserved railway services start.

Didcot Railway Centre
A 2nd visit to the GWR Didcot Railway Centre was taken by members in Aug 2019 starting out from London Paddington on a GWR class 800 IET high speed service to Didcot. Lunch was taken at the Prince of Wales pub just outside the station before heading into the preserved railway centre. A very enjoyable day.
